Thibaud is the general & artistic director of Nancy Jazz Pulsations (since 2019) and manager of French nu-jazz artist Leon Phal. Thiabaud began his career in the music sector 12 years ago, as a festival coordinator in Reims and booking agent in Lyon (Yuma Productions) and Marseille (Limitrophe Productions).
Nancy Jazz Pulsations festival of jazz and current music will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2023. Over the course of two weeks in October, NJP welcomes over 100,000 spectators to experience over 150 performances. The concerts are spread over several venues in the Lorraine area while the main festival site is based in the Parc de la Pépinière (Nancy). The festival is open to all musical styles, from jazz (30%) to electronic music (25%) to pop, reggae, metal, rock, world music, indie, French chanson and more.
Since 1973, NJP has featured headliners such as Ray Charles, Daft Punk, Miles Davis, Sharon Jones, Nina Simone, Marcus Miller, Calypso Rose, Laurent Garnier, Metronomy, Woodkid, Ben Harper, Muse, Run DMC, Texas, Alain Bashung, Tiken Jah Fakoly, Raul Midon, Seu Jorge, Gilberto Gil, Selah Sue, Avishai Cohen, Lucky Peterson, Melody Gardot, Stacey Kent, Bernard Lavilliers and more.
