In 1995, Ivan founded the Nisville Jazz Festival, the most popular jazz, blues, soul, and world music festival in the Balkans.
Up until 1990, he was a successful theater director, receiving several awards for his directing from national festivals of amateur theater.
Ivan is the organizer of several music and theater events, including the Theatre Yu Fest, a rock festival, and a chamber music festival.
He is also the author of the book of essays “Walk On Jazz”.
