An advocate for women in music, Carla Black is the founder of ROCKRGRL Magazine, Musicians for Equal Opportunities for Women (MEOW) and a career consultant. Formerly based in the US (now Israel) she served for many years on the board of the Recording Academy (GRAMMY Organization) and was named one of the most influential local people in music by Seattle Sound Magazine.
