Şatellites is a six-person Israeli group who describe their music as “lost somewhere between the mysterious alleys of 70’s Istanbul and the scorching sun and crystal blue sea of Jaffa, Tel Aviv”. Their sound is influenced by international music and sounds, yet at its core is a desire to illuminate the vivid qualities of classic Turkish music, honoring the Anatolian folk and psych artists from this golden musical era.
