Primary Wave is an independent publishing company situated in the USA (NY/LA) , representing contemporary as well as highly acclaimed artists, including Bob Marely, Prince, Ray Charles, Counting Crows and other legends.
The company maintains a talent management department, representing artists as Ceelo Green, Cypress Hill, M-Phazes, Salt-N-Pepa, and more.
Laurel Stearns, one of Primary Wave’s talent managers, exhibits an impressive repertoire, which includes Capitol Records, Red Light Management and independent management. Throughout her career, Laurel signed bands such as Interpol, The Decemberists, Shout Out Louds, Fischerspooner, Sparklehorse, LCD Soundsystem, and Chris Cornell’s solo effort. She launched Cold Sweat Records/Caroline Distribution artists such as No Age, Battles, Health, Devendra Banhart, Yahowa 13, and many others were discovered and released under her management.
Earlier in her career, Laurel also scouted for The Sony WORK group, taking part in album recordings of Fiona Apple, Jennifer Lopez, Jamiroquai & Eagle Eye Cherry, and others.
